Work has kept me busy since coming back from maternity leave. I work full time now, so my business was put in the back burner for a little while. I miss doing my soaps weekly so I decided I will catch up during spring break.
I have run out of Miele soaps, so I will have to make up a few batches since they are my best sellers. I'm looking forward to spring because winter is just not my season. Lately my little family 👨👩👧👧 has been using the Bambolina liquid soap.
All those who know me well, would not be surprised to find out the cocco di latte soap is my all time favourite. I am biased when it comes to anything coconut. I love coconut milk, coconut oil .. Basically any that is made from coconuts.
Hope everyone is doing well and I will be back to update you all on new and upcoming projects.
Ciao for now
My sister got married last September and I made these bath bombs for her to give away as bonbonnieres. They were originally supposed be balls not halves. For some reason every time I tried shaping them into my mold they would crumble. This is the first time that happened me! I'm guessing it was my jittery nerves.
I wanted them to come out perfectly for her special day. I was getting discouraged so I decided to make halves instead. Time was limited so I had to make a quick decision.
Everything turned out well in the end, well sort of.. Some poor guest mistook it for a cookie and bit into it! He told the people sitting at his table that it was the worst cookie he had ever tasted! lol 😭😂😭😂 thank goodness he had a good sense of humour, when I went over to him and apologized.
I have been using the same method to make my bath bombs, so I will try them again soon to make sure they come out properly.
